Realistic Rendering is a portal site gathering any information related to the computer graphics field called realistic rendering. Realistic or physically-based rendering follows the physical behaviour of light as closely as possible in an effort to predict what the final appearance of a design will be. The input data are geometry and physical material properties, and the output is usually an image from a given point of view. Researchers also speak about the global illumination problem in a scene, which means taking into account every possible light transfer.
